Here We Go Again...

The time has come to lose weight again. I feel like that is always a goal of mine and now that the pregnancy is over, I'm ready to get the ball rolling. I must admit I'm feeling pretty gross right now and had to buy some size 14 jeans since I can't fit into my others yet. Mind you, that is the size I wore in high school which I must say, I never wanted to see again, but it's happened and I have to deal with it. That should be motivating enough right there! I can't really exercise yet because I am not completely healed from the delivery, but I am ready to start tracking my food again and to start losing weight that way for now until I can add in exercise. So...it's always motivating to see where you're starting from, so here's where I am now:

Weight: 169.5lbs
Waist: 37in
Hips: 46in
Right Thigh: 26in
Left Thigh: 25in
Right Arm: 12.5in
Left Arm: 12 in
Chest: 39in
YIKES! Let's just say I'm quite bigger than I was pre-pregnancy. And pre-pregnancy I was already much bigger than I was when we got married. My goal is to get back down to a little less than I was when we got married. I can't even bring myself to post a picture yet, so maybe after I reach the first goal I'll be willing to do that....until then, the measurements will have to do.

And how about setting some short and long term goals, shall we?
-10lbs by October 1st
-15lbs by November 1st
-25lbs by the end of the year
-40lbs by March 1st, just in time for spring and to be able to wear my green dress for Easter
.
The plan?
-Track my daily food intake
-Add in exercise when I can and work up to 6 times a week
-Weigh in once a week to track progress
-Eat more fruits and veggies (at least one with every meal and for snacks)
-Eat only 2 desserts per week
-Cut out soft drinks, fried foods, and excess snacking
-Stop eating after 9pm

So...like I said...HERE WE GO AGAIN!
